The attentionworthy, the craveworthy and perhaps the occasional unsavory, in and around Columbus, OHIO...capital city...sleeper hottie of the midwest.
I read a really great local blog today about blogging.  In a nutshell, it explored the idea that one shouldn’t necessarily have to stick to a “regular” schedule of post after post after post if there’s no inspiration involved.  I took that to heart, since I tend to follow those lines of action in real life…unless I’m getting paid.  ;-)  Anyhow, if there was any question as to whether or not I was inspired tonight, ask no more!  I found my inspiration in a Yelp review of a place that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed walking past, but never eating at for years.
To clarify what you will be reading below: within the context of Yelp, this jocular review is sandwiched between layers of commentary that rip on the long-standing establishment. I love Columbus.  Enjoy, suckas!  I present to you…The Clarmont, Brewery District, Cols. OH.
“This was my grandpa’s go to spot for our large family dinners growing up. He’s now deceased, as is most of the clientele that used to frequent this place. Point being, if you are looking for some chic and sophisticated meal, you are probably going to be let down here. That said though, the food is fairly priced, and the portions are more than abundant. Plus, they have a great bar and some really good desserts. And for all you hilljacks that pretend you know good food and decor, stop pretending, as you probably suck just as bad as the next guy.Enjoy Suckas’!!!!”
Abe R.  Whoever you are…I’d like to shake your hand. <3
