I’m rather fond of this shirt by Alison Rose Tees because…it’s not only full of irony, it’s also full of truth. Anyone out there moved away to bigger, shinier things and found themselves missing a little piece of this place?
7,000 new nuts rolled in to OSU campus yesterday and to that I say, GOOD LUCK! In other news, I still find Brutus Buckeye to be a weirdly appropriate personification to rep this town (like it or not!)…but had no idea he was such a good dancer.
*YIKES! You must see these pics of Brutus throughout the years at the Dispatch online.
Thanks to Northcoast Zeitgeist for turning my attention to this: the destructive storm that swept through the Midwestern to Mid-Atlantic states on the 29th has its own Wikipedia page. Lots of great weather-nerd-speak, a.k.a. valuable things I probably learned to forget in Junior High science class contained therein! Fingers and toes crossed for all y’all who continue to go without power in this heat.

In turn, I’d like to extend the Vulcan Salute to fuckyeahohio for this funny lil’ post.
Wexner Center for the Arts’ Off The Grid event promises to keep the senses overloaded and delivers. Between the OYO cocktails, noshes from most of the best original restaurants Columbus has to offer, amazing installations, breaking my neck PEOPLE WATCHING and dancing hard to Shuttle’s set…I hurt a bit today. In the best way possible.
