One of my most favorite pieces of art in Columbus resides in Olde Towne East at Carabar, 115 Parsons Avenue just south of the I71 overpass.  Real dive bars are joints in which you don’t dare whip out your camera or cell phone too easy, so I won’t call it one…but that’s kind of the vibe (not counting the selection of vegetarian eats and craft beers on tap); fully expect to either love or loathe the place if you haven’t been.  Personally, I enjoy the graffiti on the back walls and would cat-burgle the sh*t out of this gorgeous velvet painting if only I had the guile and this outfit.
