Scenes from Historic Franklinton’s 2011 Go West Block Party and Gallery Hop. I loved browsing the art installations in usually vacant buildings and storefront windows last year…with local brews and live music throughout the evening. This side of the Scioto River is the foundation for what we know now as the capital of Ohio; please visit the 2012 fest, 4-9 today (it’s kid friendly too). If you’re curious, drive down Gift St. to see the oldest building in the area, which is under renovation.
