Nomnomnom. The heatwave has NOT kept the lunchtime crowd away from Katalina’s patio. Yesterday I treated myself to a Bacon & Avocado Sandwich (with sprouts, fig jam and toasted old world bread, plus an apple for $9.25) for lunch. Pennsylvania and Third Ave. in Harrison West, Columbus, O.
I know there are a million bajillion things going on in Klumbis this weekend, but guys and gals, if there’s one thing you must do, it’s hop on over to the Garden Theater at 9pm on Saturday (6/9) to watch this baby on the big screen.

Yep, it’s The Village People’s 1980 musical. Never heard of it? There’s definitely one photo alone that I could have posted and said, “read no further, just go see this movie and oh yeah…it will also CHANGE YOUR LIFE”, but I think more is better when it comes to Can’t Stop The Music.

In fact, I’mma bump all other content to the bottom of the page for Bruce Jenner’s crop top and jean shorts. How will this change your life…and whodat to his left?

Yep, that would be none other than co-star Steve Guttenberg on rollerskates. There’s more where this split-screen action came from and it’s ready to steal a slice of the big ol’ pie chart we call your brain. Sold?

Maybe this still from a song and dance number will intrigue you (yes, she is biting the construction worker’s bicep). Besides having the chance to watch from seats in the newly renovated Garden Theater in the Short North District, this larger than life and at times uproariously confusing piece of cinema with leave you laughing and full of dance moves that, trust me—will be good to bust out of your back pocket (or loin cloth) at house parties and discos alike. I won’t be in town this weekend for the fun, but I don’t want to come back home and find out this event was anything less than way too crowded. A great start to Pride week!

I’d laugh, but I can’t move my face.
